laser safety window P6P21

The laservision plastic laser safety window P6P21 (with a thickness of approx. 3.0 - 3.2 mm) is a gold-colored laser safety window with an ESD coating (electrostatic discharge). It is certified according to the requirements of the laser protection shielding standard DIN EN 60825-4. Due to the high ODs in the UV and blue range (OD10+ from 180 to 458 nm; OD8+ >458-462nm), the broad and high protection level within the NIR (OD5+ from 815nm to 1100nm; OD8+ from 880nm to 1075nm, and OD10+ from 940 to1055nm) and in the infrared area (OD8 + from 5230 to 14570 nm), the window is suitable for high power diodes as well as for disk, Nd: YAG, fiber or with CO2 lasers. The gold-colored laser safety window is 450x300mm in size and has good color vision and VLT of appr. 50%. The maximum size can be 2000 x 1150mm.

Product information "laser safety window P6P21"

The laser safety window P6P21 with ESD coating (Electrostatic Discharge) consists of a gold-colored, absorbing plastic with a thickness of approx. 3,0 - 3,2 mm. The protection is based on the absorption of laser radiation in the material itself. The window has a daylight transmission of approx. 50% and therefore a very good visual brightness and good color recognition.

There is broadband laser protection in the UV, blue, NIR and IR wavelength ranges.

The ESD coating (electrostatic discharge) of this laser safety window with a surface resistivity between 104 and 108 Ω enables it to be used in various industries where a clean environment is necessary and electrostatic charging of the window has to be avoided. At the same time, this product offers protection against usual used lasers in semiconductor manufacturing, laser soldering, micro assembly and similar applications.

To ensure safe use of the window, it is certified in accordance with the requirements of the DIN EN 60825-4 standard. To ensure adequate laser safety, please calculate the OD values and protection levels required for your laser and compare them with the specifications on the laser safety window before installing the pane.
